Native Residential Construction Worker Lvl-1

Only fully complete application forms will be entered into the program. First come first serve bases. Open to ALL registered Matawa members living in Thunder Bay.
Elligible students can receive:
- child care support
- daily stipend for each day attended
- start up tool kits
- required PPE
- bus pass
- LiUNA safety certificates such as WHIMIS, Working at Heights, Lock Out/Tag out, etc

Schedule: 
October 13 - 16, 2026 - Wellness week and pre-employment training
October 19 - 23, 2026 - LiUNA Safety Certificates
October 26 - December 16th - InClass and hands-on training for Native Residential Construction Craft Worker LVL 1

Students will build ice sheds and other items as part of their hands on training.
