Minimum Hardware & Software Requirements

Hardware

  • A computer, laptop, or tablet with internet access
  • Minimum 2 GB RAM (4 GB or more recommended)
  • Screen resolution of at least 1024 × 768 pixels
  • Audio capability (speakers or headphones; microphone recommended for interactive sessions)
  • Webcam (for courses requiring video participation)
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps download / 1 Mbps upload; 5 Mbps+ recommended)

Software

  • Updated web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox – most recent version)
  • PDF reader (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader)
  • Word processor (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or equivalent)
  • Video conferencing software (Zoom – free version acceptable)
  • Access to email for course communications

Optional but Recommended
  • Smartphone with camera (for mobile access and submitting photo-based assignments)
  • Printer & scanner (or scanning app)
