Native Residential Construction Worker Program 296A - Level 1
Build A Tiny Home!
Learn about construction and house building by building a tiny home from scratch! The Native Residential Construction Worker Program is designed to cover all aspects of building a home. Students will be introduced to blue prints, framing, roofing, floors, electrical, plumbing and window/door installation.

WHERE: 523 Algoma St. N, Thunder Bay ON, Matawa Training and Wellness Centre

WHO CAN APPLY: Matawa community members living in Thunder Bay, (LL#58 will need to get funding from the LL#58 ISETS department to participate)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have completed High School and have your OSSD transcripts
- Have proof of SIN #
- Have a valid Status Card
- Fully complete the KKETS Universal Application Form
- Be ready to attend each day, possibly on weekends
KKETS SPONSORSHIP INCLUDES:
- City bus pass to get to training location and back
- PPE such as work boots, safety goggles, gloves
- Start up kits (measuring tape, hammer, toolbelt etc.)
